Centred on a main conference whose scope encompasses the whole of nowadays and tomorrow’s maritime stakes, Safer Seas’ built allows its participants to have in-depth debates within specialized meetings, to discover the expertise of maritime companies and operators staged at the trade show and to visit sites of strategic interest. Business teams of the sector are also offered with the opportunity to showcase their most innovative products to their prospects during dedicated B2B meetings.

As the heart of the event, the main conference outlines, over two days, the numerous dimensions of maritime safety, replacing them in the big picture. Internationally recognized experts are invite to share and discuss in fields as varied as legal affairs, scientific research, technologic innovations or high level training, together with international authorities, institutions, industrials, operators and, obviously, seafarers.

Last, but not least, in the wake of Safer Seas, the centre of congress Le Quartz will host the European Commission DG MARE and the 2nd edition of the Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference.

A member of the Enterprise Europe Ouest network (EEN), Bretagne Développement Innovation (BDI) organises b2b meetings during Safer Seas. The purpose of the EEN and of these meetings is to provide the companies from Brittany with the means to identify and get connected with international partners to develop their business (partnerships in research, technologies and commercial matters).
A dedicated online platform, B2match, has been launched to schedule those meetings ahead of time.
